The lateral Water Distributor system is designed for effective media retention in a wide range of applications. Connected to either a central header pipe or hub, these assemblies consist of a series of screen laterals which allow a uniform collection and / or distribution through treatment media. The screen lateral is made of stainless steel, hastelloy and other alloy steels. Wedge wire screen laterals assemblies are divided into hub lateral assembly and header lateral assembly based on their installation position and function within the tank.

Hub lateral assembly is used at the top or bottom of the tank. Its main role is to distribute and collect liquids at the equipment outlet.
Header lateral assembly is used in the middle section of the tank to ensure even distribution and discharge of liquids while preventing media from flowing out.
